The Kestrel is a small falcon, often used by women
during the Renaissance, for hunting. This elegant
masque is the complete bird in downward flight,
covering the face. This is a partially lined masque, in
kestrel colours as shown. This 'full bird' idea can also be
done as a Dove, sacred to Isis and Venus, and today, a
symbol of the Holy Spirit. Very Regal!

This is just the thing to wear to the Carnival in Venice!
Our Crane is a lined masque, with ostrich plumes
sweeping back over the head. It comes in crane
colours of greys and white, but could be made
in other colours to match a specific costume.

wanting to smack someone? You'll find out, in our
truly impressive Crow/Raven . This Corvid is lined
in suede, and looks wonderful on the wall, when you
tire of anoying despondent poets. The beak is enclosed,

Welcome to our Hairpieces!
In case you didn't know, jesses are small pieces of leather
which falconers use to tether their hunting birds.
Here, we will tether M'Ladys' ( or M'Lord's) tresses.
Most of our pieces are of creatures which fly, although they
are not all feathered.
Most of these pieces are quite large, Art for the Hair, actually.
Prices are listed for each .
We will be happy to design other creatures
for your hair if you have something else in mind.
